Our goal is to provide a safe, supportive and stimulating environment where children are free to grow to their potential. This involves working in partnership with families to understand the varied and individual needs of each child. Children learn best when they feel physically and emotionally safe.
Carefully selected learning material and activities allow each child to progress at his/her own rate through a logical series of sensory, motor and intellectual tasks. Each child has the potential to grow in all areas through self-motivation, self-direction and self-discipline. It is of utmost importance to us to encourage the development of a positive self-image, self-confidence, open communication and trusting relationship between children, teachers and parents.
An array of self-selected activities are provided such as paint, collage, playdough, woodwork, music, stories, dramatic play and outdoor exploration. These learning experiences invite children to discover, invent and enjoy their environment.
